Having a Fun Formal Affair.

We were invited to a "Gala" to celebrate South Lake Tahoe's 50th anniversary. It was wonderful to learn more about the history of the city, eat delicious food and dance! I enjoyed dressing up for the occasion and felt giddy in Shannon's arms.

We felt special and feel like we are a part of a wonderful city with so much happening to make it a great place. Some of the things that we celebrated were the schools, the parent networks, the environmental stewardship and the recreational and entertainment opportunities. To note, Shannon's place of employment, the South Lake Tahoe Public Utilities District, was given an award this past week for its excellent practices that help sustain a healthy environment. South Lake Tahoe is a fantastic place to live, and it feels good to invest our time and commitment to such a beautiful city.
