Lilly Snuggles are Missed!

Our little dog Lilly, a cocker spaniel mixed bread, died in January, and we truly miss her. She was 16 years old, and we found her 14 years ago as a stray on Sweet Briar College’s campus in Virginia where we lived, and I worked. Lilly was all LOVE, and she came to work with me every day. I was Director of Outdoor Programs at Sweet Briar, and my office was right outside a residence hall elevator and the campus post office. Lilly gave love to all who walked by. Many students would stop especially to pet Lilly, because they missed their own pets so much. It was daily therapy to have a good snuggle with Lilly. From my perspective, Lilly helped us always connect to our hearts. What a gift she was to our family, and to all who enjoyed a good Lilly snuggle.
