Easter Family Fun!

Over the Easter weekend, we went to Sacramento to visit Shannon’s brother Kasey, and his wife and son, Sean and Atticus. Shannon’s brother Cody and his wife and daughter, Kristina and Gillian joined us from their home in San Francisco. What made the visit a terrific experience is how everyone “hung out” with each other. We did not have an agenda; instead we relaxed, went for walks together, and played lots of games. Each of us is very active, so on Easter morning when a double jump rope was found in Gracen’s Easter basket, we all had a blast. Some of us had to relearn how to jump rope, which made it very entertaining. That morning we pulled out all kinds of toys and played in the cul-de-sac for hours after our Easter egg hunt in the front yard. We biked, road on scooters, juggled, blew bubbles, jumped rope, and laughed a great deal. I am thankful for such nurturing family relationships.
